She and her two sisters were raised in a small, wire-bottom cage on a fur farm in Minnesota, where the soft earth was a dream and freedom was an unfathomable concept. But Matilda’s story took a different turn. She became one of the lucky 500 foxes saved from the fur farm by Save-A-Fox, a beacon of light in a world that had only shown her darkness. Since arriving at the sanctuary, Matilda has slowly begun to unfold her wings.
