Meet Bella, a lovely 16-year-old mini horse with a gentle heart and a strong spirit! Bella came to Kindred Hearts Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. in August 2024 alongside her adorable daughter, Doodlebug, after their home was devastated by flooding from Hurricane Heleen. When chest-deep waters threatened their safety, we were honored to step in and give this sweet little family a safe place to land.
Bella is a calm, affectionate soul who has taken everything in stride. She’s a devoted mama to Doodlebug and the two are truly inseparable. Whether they’re grazing in the pasture, exploring side by side, or just enjoying the sunshine, Bella and Doodlebug share a bond that melts hearts.
Now, Bella and her daughter are looking for a loving forever home together—a place where they can continue to thrive and enjoy the peaceful, happy life they deserve.
