Piper's Story
Piper’s journey began when she was surrendered to a local rescue after losing her bonded companion. Unfortunately, the rescue didn’t have another sugar glider to pair her with, leaving her without the comfort of a friend.
At the same time, Kindred Hearts had recently lost our sweet senior rescue sugar glider due to age, which left his companion, Pixie, all alone. It was the perfect match since Piper joined Pixie, and the two instantly formed a strong bond.
Now inseparable, Piper and Pixie spend their days side by side, reminding us all how deeply animals need companionship and connection. Together, they’ll continue to receive the care, love, and safety they deserve here at Kindred Hearts.
